Fuzzy Logic Announcement Page

Fuzzy Logic was one the favorite lighting design concepts that I have ever done. I enjoyed the result so much that I submitted it into a popular lighting competition. You can learn more about it on the physical products page of this site if you wish.

I thought it would be fun as well to show Fuzzy Logic in a digital space, so I decided to make an announcement page to showcase Fuzzy Logic as if it were an upcoming event at the Microsoft Visitors Center in Seattle, Washington. The idea behind the page is that it can be temporarily added to the visitors center's website to promote the exhibit.

This was a personal project that I did in my spare time utilizing some of my skills as a digital product designer. The project involved several user research methods (outlined at the bottom of this page), as well as wireframing/prototyping. The wireframing was done in Figma.

User personas for this webpage were derived from user research done during the original Fuzzy Logic project

The concept from the original project provided inspiration for the elements within the announcement page

The "flood" of color produced by Fuzzy Logic was a key features of the lighting exhibit

It was imperative that this element be expressed within the announcement page

Low fidelity prototypes helped to organize the design and layout for the page

The page was designed so that the assets would fit with standard popular breakpoints (desktop, mobile, etc.)

High fidelity prototypes were developed to show the aesthetic elements of the application

Aspects of visual and interactivity design are implemented using user experience principles

User flows are incorporated into the high fidelity prototypes to demonstrate click paths

The click paths shown here are demonstrated in the demo video

Color changing became the main visual element of the page

As the background changes color, so does the atmosphere of the page

A scroll section provide the user with information relevant to the exhibit

This section also allows for the users to interact with the page

You can learn more about this in the demo below

This presentation demonstrates the interface and design elements of the announcement landing page for Fuzzy Logic

The page is intended to provide users with pertinent information while remaining fun and engaging in order to capture the essence of the exhibit
